Experience and Expertise:
I began my career in public accounting in 2006 at a local McGladrey Alliance firm. I focused on real estate and not-for-profit organizations. I worked closely with the real estate developers’ accounting teams, assisting them with all aspects of their business from the day-to-day operations and purchase price allocations to the complications of 1031 exchanges and everything in-between. After eight years with the local McGladrey Alliance firm, I moved to private accounting and was the Controller for a real estate investment group based in Santa Rosa. Over the three years I was with them they grew from a handful of entities owning mainly single family homes throughout California to 20 companies with predominantly multi-family properties in California, Oklahoma and Arkansas. At the end of 2016 I came back to public accounting to continue helping clients with their accounting, tax and reporting needs.
