I began my public accounting career as an intern here at Dillwood Burkel & Millar, LLP in 2006. During my tenure at Dillwood Burkel & Millar, LLP, I was responsible for providing tax and audit services to a myriad of clients and industries. During this time, I fell in love with the non-profit industry. After 6+ years in public accounting, I transitioned to private accounting and became the Controller for a local non-profit private school, Anova, serving children with autism and learning differences. I then went to work for our local Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin as their Controller managing the day-to-day financial operations. After 8+ years, I have returned to public accounting to assist our clients with their accounting needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration, both from Sonoma State University. I am a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Education Instructor.
In my free time, you can find me spending time with my family, reading a good book or planning our next vacation.
